This year as part of our 27th Annual Black Doll Exhibit, we are focusing on the "Dolls of Hope", started by Cynthia Davis, professor and program director of Public Health at Charles Drew University. Dolls of Hope are part of Ms. Davis' outreach for HIV/AIDS Awareness and Education.

On February 7th, we will have an event here to commemorate National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. We will hold workshops of the Dolls of Hope, have HIV/AIDS education and we will have mobile HIV testing units outside of our center and music by Brazilian master drummer Carlinhos Pandeiro de Ouro.
